About Susan and SXNE
Susan Scarborough is a wanna-be chef with wanderlust and a full-time mom to many. Born and raised in the Deep South, Susan is now a Southern ex-pat living in New England. Like the life she leads, SXNE captures the ties that bind the South and Northeast, taking readers on a cultural journey from Birmingham to Boston, from Natchez to Nantucket. And like Susan, you will be surprised by what unites these seemingly disparate regions.
“Where we love is home–
home that our feet may leave,
but not our hearts.”
-Oliver Wendell Holmes
